Term Limits

Term Limits post thumbnail image

Term limits already exist, it’s simply voting someone else into office. Term limits should be left up to the voters and the states where representatives and senators come from. Those that are voted on by the entire nation should be regulated by a national amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.

We have a similar limitation on our Governor. Both exist to keep “extra-popular” individuals from becoming like royalty. Perhaps, it’s is time that we prevent “extra-popular” individuals from becoming like “nobility”. Here’s what needs to happen for term limits to be enacted:

  • United States Congress: an Amendment to the United States Constitution
  • Supreme Court of United States: an Amendment to the United States Constitution
  • Wyoming Legislator: an Amendment to the Constitution of the State of Wyoming.
  • Supreme Court of Wyoming: an Amendment to the Constitution of the State of Wyoming.
