I am dedicated Real Estate Broker with a strong track record in business and community service. I am born and raised in Laramie County, and I have a deep understanding of the local community. I serve on the Board of Directors for Shriners Children’s Hospitals and I am actively involved in helping our small towns develop according to their designs.
Why am I running for the Wyoming House of Representatives – District 10? I am driven by a deep commitment to keep our state and our district conservative coupled with a desire to enhance the quality of life for all of residents. My experience working with Wayne Johnson, a former State Senator and State Representative for our Districts, has provided me with invaluable insights into the needs and aspirations of our district.
I was originally approached by an intermediary when the primary cycle was coming to a close, and he wanted to know if I would run on short notice as “independent” due to the circumstances surrounding the incumbent’s Rep. John Eklund Jr.’s (R) health. Due to election law, I would not receive party support nor acknowledgment, nor could I acknowledge the only party that I have been a voting member. You’ll have to read between the lines to figure that out. However, I can confidently say that I am a constitutionally minded conservative and my voting record will be better.
I am passionate about enhancing services for senior citizens by expanding access and making them more affordable. Additionally, I aim to preserve our agricultural land to ensure food security and support our farmers. Housing is another critical issue; I will advocate for increasing affordable housing options and addressing the needs of those who cannot afford to purchase a home.
My extensive background in real estate and community service, coupled with my hands-on experience in local development, sets me apart. I bring a pragmatic approach to understanding the needs and wants of our community. My focus on critical issues like senior services, agriculture, and housing reflects my commitment to sustainable growth and the well-being of all residents in our District.
